LIMITED | Summer of Love takes some of the Sixties most significant art and design principles, and has applied new age interpretations. The incredible works of Josef Albers and his Interaction of Color, the Bauhaus Design School and the relentless refinement of minimalism, and the psychedelic philosophy of Allen Ginsberg, are all channelled in this powerful, bright and diverse range.
Josef Alber's showed how any one colour can look different when paired with another. While Albers and his Interaction of Colour theory is expressed through his simplistic square artwork, our interpretation has been to show this relationship in the gradients adorning Koolaid. The story of the primary colour is entirely dependent on the colour into which it disperses. Lively or reserved, stark or subtle. The choice is ours.
