Throughout the month of January, we celebrate the future of cycling. The riders and teams that are the future of our sport. The young women and men that drive for excellence in the peloton, and drive brands like us to pick up our game and keep innovating. From National Championships to the World Tour, it’s a month that defines what is truly important in our sport. It’s the most important time of year for Black Sheep.
The Future Project is a manifesto. It emphasises equality across women and men, a focus on U23 elite cycling, and funding to enable global racing opportunities that can help ensure talented individuals can take their talents to the top level.

In 2023, the Australian Cycling Academy embarks on a progressive growth plan to reach the pinnacle of the sport. Starting off with a 3-year commitment from Scott Farquar Skip Capital, ARA Skip Capital Sunshine Racing steps up to UCI Pro Continental level and will be racing in some of the biggest races in the Southern and Northern Hemipsheres.

XXIII is the pinnacle of Black Sheep; the latest of our RACING and WMN Collections. This year, we’ve used the future to not just inspire, but to create. Usng feedback from the Australian Cycling Academy, and our partnership with the U23 Tour de France, we’ve created a collection entirely using 3D Apparel Design Technology. From concept to campaign, XXIII defines a new future. A new real.
